New Convenient Virtual Appointments!

Want to avoid driving and parking? Too busy for the commute? Have a sick one at home? Just want to stay in your PJs? For your convenience, you may now do initial and follow-up appointments with me not only in-person but (when appropriate) on the phone or by secure video. This applies only to cases where I don’t need to see and physically assess something. For example, if you have a rash that I need to see, an ear infection, a concern about your heart, blood pressure, or your breathing, I need to see you in person to perform the appropriate physical assessments. Otherwise, visits can be done over the phone or online.

Online or phone appointments may still be booked through our online booking software here. Please specify when booking if you would like the visit to be in-person, over the phone, or by video through our HIPAA, PIPEDA, and PHIPA-compliant telemedicine software, Doxy.me.

Children, Students, and Seniors Naturopathic Doctor Fees

Blood Testing Through a Naturopath

I can order conventional blood testing for your iron level, thyroid, an extensive list of hormones, vitamin B12, vitamin D, etc. I can order almost any test that your medical doctor would. However, OHIP does not cover the costs of the tests if a naturopathic doctor orders them.  Our patients often opt to do these tests through us anyway for several reasons:

  1. Their doctor is not cooperating in ordering the tests
  2. The testing their doctor has done is not sufficiently thorough
  3. It saves them the time and effort of booking an appointment with their doctor only to find that he/she will not order some or all of the tests, and/or the hassle of trying to obtain a copy of the results.

For conventional lab testing, we only charge what the lab charges us for the test, plus a $35 lab fee, and the lab charges an additional collection fee ($25).
