Overcoming her own health issues has inspired an interest in women’s health issues, particularly fibroids, endometriosis, PCOS, PMS, Candida, Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) and infertility. That said, she enjoys helping people or every age or gender with a wide variety of conditions including allergies, irritable bowel syndrome, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s, eczema, psoriasis, headaches/migraines, menopause, perimenopause, diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, hypothyroidism, weight loss and much more.

My story: I worked as a medical laboratory technologist in a hospital from 1984 to 2004 (overlapping with my career as a naturopathic doctor). I entered that field because I’ve had a keen interest in the healthcare field since I was 7 years old. My earliest career aspiration was to be a nurse. After 20 years as a lab tech, the automation of that field made the job no longer intellectually stimulating. While looking for a new career in healthcare, a friend pushed me to see a naturopathic doctor. Because of my own ignorance of the field, I was initially resistant, but because I had coverage, eventually with enough persuasion I went. Because of the astounding success of that treatment, I realized that my calling was to become a naturopathic doctor. I had always had a passion for health, fitness, and healthy eating and naturopathic medicine combines these passions beautifully.
Pamela Frank is also the proud mom of a wonderful 13-year-old boy. When she is not busy with him, she’s at the gym, the library, at ballroom dance lessons, in the karate dojo or on the tennis courts.
