About Naturopathic Doctor Pamela Frank, BSc(Hons), ND

Dr. Pamela went to York University on a full scholarship. She was consistently on the Dean’s Honour Roll. She has been in practice as a naturopathic doctor since 1999.  Dr. Pamela was twice voted “Best Naturopath in Toronto” by the Readers of NOW magazine and twice by the readers of the City Centre Mirror.

Dr. Pamela is a member in good standing of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors. She is licensed/registered with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario.

Overcoming her own health issues has inspired an interest in women’s health problems.  She finds naturopathic medicine particularly helpful for fibroids, endometriosis, PCOS, PMS, Candida, Bacterial Vaginosis (BV), and infertility. That said, she enjoys helping people of every age or gender with a wide variety of conditions. These may include allergies, irritable bowel syndrome, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s, eczema, psoriasis, headaches/migraines, menopause, perimenopause, diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, hypothyroidism, weight loss, and much more.

Natural treatments are designed to address the root cause of your health problem, not just mask the symptoms. Dr. Pamela Frank uses a natural treatment approach that may include acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutrition, diet, vitamins, supplements, and other natural remedies.  Book an appointment here or call the office for more information at 416-481-0222.

My story

I worked as a medical laboratory technologist at Humber River Regional Hospital from 1984 to 2004 (overlapping with my career as a naturopathic doctor).  I entered that field because I’ve had a keen interest in healthcare since I was 7 years old.  My earliest career aspiration was to be a nurse.  After 20 years as a lab tech, the automation of that field made the job no longer intellectually stimulating.  While looking for a new career in healthcare, a friend pushed me to see a naturopathic doctor myself.  I was initially resistant, but because I had coverage, eventually I went.  Because of the amazing success of that treatment, I realized that my calling was to become a naturopathic doctor.  I had always had a passion for health, fitness, and healthy eating. Naturopathic medicine combines these passions beautifully.

I am also the proud mom of a wonderful 18-year-old boy. When I’m not busy with him, I’m at the gym, the library, volunteering as a Scouter, in the karate dojo, or on the tennis courts.

Am I the best naturopath for you?

I am if you are looking for an experienced (20 years), root-cause approach and you want to integrate the best, most scientifically-validated natural treatment into your healthcare regimen.
