Blood Testing

We can perform conventional blood testing for iron, thyroid, an extensive list of hormones, vitamin B12 etc, however OHIP does not cover the costs of the tests if they are performed by a naturopathic doctor.  Our patients often opt to do these tests through us for a number of reasons:

  1. Their doctor is not cooperating in ordering the tests
  2. The testing their doctor has done is not sufficiently thorough
  3. It saves them the time and effort of booking an appointment with their doctor only to find that he/she will not order some or all of the tests and/or the hassle of trying to obtain a copy of the results.

For conventional lab testing, we only charge what the lab charges us for the test, plus the lab charges an additional collection fee ($25).

Food Allergy Blood Testing

Testing for IgG and/or IgA antibodies to specific foods through In Common Labs.

96 Foods, IgG = $225

184 Foods, IgG = $435

96 Foods, IgG and IgA = $500

96 Foods, IgG and IgA = $845
